Cake boards are flat support bases that are placed under cakes to make them easy to lift and transport. It is normally advisable to get a cake board that is slightly larger than the cake base diameter. Baking Pleasures stocks a wide range of cake boards in different shapes, sizes, thicknesses, and wrappings. Masonite cake boards are made from wood (MDF) and wrapped in foil, making them sturdy and bend-resistant. Our range of Masonite cake boards are of premium quality, measuring 5mm in thickness and are extremely strong. Masonite cake boards are wrapped in traditional embossed silver foil, as well as prints like wood, marble, and water. They are great for holding heavy cakes, such as stacked wedding or tiered cakes. Masonite cake boards are also commonly used as a base for hampers and gifts. We also offer economical white and black cardboard cake boards, made from 5mm thick ridged cardboard. Our silver cardboard cake boards are 3mm in thickness.
