Also known as fondant, ready to roll icing or sugarpaste, this pliable and doughlike icing can be kneaded, moulded into shapes or rolled out like a pastry to cover most wedding or novelty cakes. Plastic icing gives cakes a matte and perfectly smooth finish and has a semi-soft texture. Food colours can be used to create coloured plastic icing. Instructions are included on packaging. Best before dates
Fondant stock is received fresh from Cake Art every week. Cake Art's best before date is generally shorter (3-6 months)to other brands. Best before dates are NOT expiry dates thus products are generally still good for 2-3 months after best before date.
Note: Please do not use cornflour with this product. We recommend Cake Art Non Stick Sugar Powder
