When mixed according to standard instructions, 1kg of dry mix yields approximately 1.65kg to 1.75kg of final baked mudcake (accounting for standard moisture loss).
This batch is perfectly portioned to make:

Basic recipe
Per 1kg mix: 480g water, 210g egg, 180g oil. Whisk on slow 1 minute, scrape, mix 3 minutes more. Bake at 175°C in a paper-lined tin.
