Cake Craft Floral Wire 20 Gauge - WHITE 20 pieces

Floral Wire is used in cake decorating for making flowers, cake toppers and forming a range of other shapes. These wires can also be used in craft work. 

Stainless steel wire covered in food grade paper for cake and craft work, create flowers, sugar work and cake toppers  

Floral Wire is used to provide support to flower stems, and/or use the stem when creating your very own sugar flowers.
Floral Wire can easily be shaped to suit your needs and is perfect for blending amongst your creative designs!

How to Use: Place the wire into a foam bud when creating sugar flowers, or if using fresh flowers, place the wire through the underside of the flower head and fold over down the stem. You can additionally use Floral Tape to help keep the wire in place.

The smaller the gauge number, the heavier the wire

- 16, 18 & 20 gauge ideal for very rigid decorations 
- 22 gauge ideal for upright decorations
- 24 gauge, 26 gauge & 28 gauge ideal for flower modelling  
- 30 gauge is ideal for small and fine work such as flower stamens
