Frequently Asked Questions

How do I apply wafer paper decorations to a cake?

Wafer paper decorations attach easily using a small amount of edible glue, piping gel, or a thin layer of buttercream. Gently press the decoration onto your cake surface and hold for a few seconds until it adheres.

Can wafer paper decorations get wet?

Wafer paper is sensitive to moisture and will soften or dissolve on contact with water or very moist surfaces. For best results, apply toppers to a crusted buttercream, fondant, or set ganache surface. Avoid refrigerating decorated cakes once toppers are placed, as condensation can affect the paper.
