Add a touch of luxury and sparkle to your cake or dessert with this pure 24k edible gold leaf transfers by Over The Top. This pack includes 2 edible gold leaf transfers. Each edible gold leaf transfer measures approximately 8cm x 8cm.

Important
The sheets are extremely delicate so care must be taken when taking them out of packaging and applying to product. Carefully cover any unused leaves in cling wrap and store in an airtight container in a dark place between 18 – 28°C. Product will not maintain its quality if exposed to air, light or humidity. 

Instructions on applying gold leaf onto cake

1. Make sure that your fondant covered cake is free of any powdered sugar or cornstarch before you begin.
2. Using a food safe paintbrush and a little water to wet the surface of your cake to slightly moisten the fondant.
3. Carefully lift your gold leaf by holding the top corners and gently lay it over and press it onto your water painted surface. The water will keep the edible gold leaf adhered to the fondant
4. Once your gold leaf has been placed and attached you need to smooth it down. To smooth, gently and very lightly brush your transfer sheet with a high quality make up brush, something soft, large and rounded. You can use the transfer sheet to carefully smooth down the leaf.
