Fondant Icing

Fondant icing, also known as ready-to-roll (RTR) or plastic icing, is a thick, edible paste that's commonly used to decorate and cover cakes and cupcakes. Its pliable nature allows it to be rolled and draped onto cakes, creating a smooth, porcelain-like finish. Fondant icing can be coloured, flavoured, moulded, and shaped like play dough, making it a versatile medium for creating intricate designs and decorations. To use fondant icing, simply knead it until soft and pliable.
